The ARKA 3/4" Y-type disc filter is designed for garden, landscape, greenhouse and drip irrigation systems. Its reusable disc element effectively captures sand, sediment and other suspended particles, helping protect drip lines, emitters, sprinklers and irrigation valves from clogging.

The disc element consists of multiple grooved plastic discs compressed together. When irrigation water passes through the element, solid particles are trapped between the grooves of the discs.
Compared with disposable filter elements, the disc element can be removed, washed and reused, reducing routine maintenance and replacement costs.

Designed for installation near the garden water supply, the filter helps reduce sand and sediment entering drip lines, sprinklers and irrigation emitters.
The compact filter can be installed in greenhouse irrigation pipelines to protect drip emitters and provide more reliable water distribution to crops.
Check the water-flow direction before installation.
Install the filter according to the flow-direction arrow marked on the body.
Use suitable threaded fittings and sealing tape to prevent leakage.
Avoid applying excessive force when tightening plastic connections.
Leave sufficient space below the filter for element removal and cleaning.
Flush the pipeline before initial operation whenever possible.
Stop the water supply and release the pressure inside the pipeline.
Unscrew the filter cover carefully.
Remove the disc element from the filter body.
Separate or loosen the discs and rinse them thoroughly with clean water.
Check the sealing ring and remove any dirt or damage.
Reinstall the element and tighten the filter cover.
Restore the water supply and check the connections for leakage.
The cleaning frequency depends on the source-water quality and the amount of accumulated dirt.
